The Oak Hurst Golf Course and Peach Tree Golf Course are right next to each other off Highway 69 between Tyler, Texas and Jacksonville, Texas. Both Golf Courses offer novice golfers and experienced golfers different challenges. The Peach Tree Golf Course , which opened in 1984, is an executive length, beginner friendly course favored by seniors, juniors, and those that are new to the game of golf. This shorter, more open links style golf course makes scoring much easier.

Gipson has designed many great golf courses throughout the country. The Oak Hurst golf course was featured in the Dallas Morning News article "Diamonds in the Rough", which spotlighted great golf courses around the state of Texas that are not in metropolitan areas.
